“Paint a Beautiful Landscape with Ornamental Plants”

Landscaping is basically painting with plants. We use annuals and perennial flowers, colorful foliage, shrubs, trees, vines and groundcovers to paint a beautiful homescape to enjoy for years to come.

It is important to select plants that are well adapted to our soils and climate, and to the sun exposure and soil drainage where they’ll be planted. Natives are a natural choice, but there are also many well adapted nonnatives from parts of the world with similar soil and climate conditions to our area.

No one plants a landscape so they can spend their weekends spraying for pests and diseases. Whenever possible, choose species and varieties that are not prone to disease or insect attack.
